Everyone, Meet my New Baby!

I know, you got curious there. But it's not really what you think. You see, I'm not yet ready to get pregnant or to give birth anytime soon. My two babies in between are more than enough to get me going through the day right now. So, sorry if I got you a bit excited there.

Anyway, what I'm referring to here is my newest blog - Phoebe Diaries. I consider it my new baby because it serves as my breathing space whenever I feel like everything (family, work, finances) is taking its toll on me. I just started it 3 months back, so it still has a long way to go. I guess as of this writing, it only has 11 posts, but I sure won't stop updating it because it's my way of preserving all those memories we have as a family.

So, if you've got free time, go ahead and check it out.

Reviving This Family Blog

After months of contemplating whether to give up this blog or not, I finally arrived to one decision - and that is to keep it. Yes, my schedule's a bit crazy these past months, considering the fact that I don't just have a toddler and a 4-month old baby to look after but also a full-time job to focus on. But blogging has been a part of my system already, and I don't think giving it up will make my life a little easier.

The Baby in Between is not just a simple family blog for me, putting all my thoughts about our family into writing and documenting my child's development. It's far beyond that - it's actually a symbol of hope - that this family, our family, will continue to be complete no matter how difficult the trials are. If I give up this now, it's just like I'm giving up important memories of our family together.

So, here I am once again, reviving this family blog for the *nth time. (Yeah, I can't remember how many times I tried to revive this already! :D ) I won't promise that I'll update this everyday, but I'll do make sure that I make a post at least twice a week.

Gerby's Humble Beginnings

Finally, I was able to accomplish today one of my plans since February, and that is to create a new blog for our new baby who is due on October 22nd. Although we don't know yet what the baby's gender is, Daddy and I already came up with a name. A name which can be applicable to both baby boy or baby girl. It's a simple combination of our names - Gerald, Phoebe, and Gaby. So let me introduce to you our new baby - BABY GERBY.

Gerby's Humble Beginnings will be the online journal of our new bundle of joy. Since Gaby already has this one, we decided to give Gerby "his" own place on the web. (LOL! :D Isn't it obvious that I'm really hoping for a baby boy this time?) As of now, I only used the typical dots layout from Blogger. But once I find more time to tweak it, I'll choose a customized one. For now, the dots layout will do since I'll be focusing on its content first.

So that's it! Let's witness how this little one makes "his" journey to life - "his" humble beginnings!

When I opened my Baby Gaby's email account a while ago, I was so glad to see this subject: Your Post Has Been Approved. It was an email from PayPerPost saying that my previous post here entitled The Baby in Between Signed Up for PPP has been approved already. After reading it, all I can say was "Wow, that was fast!" I've just written that post yesterday, and I never expected it to be approved within 24 hours.

Now, you see how easy it is to get paid to blog, huh? Why don't you click here and sign up for PPP?

The Baby in Between Signed Up for PPP

When I opened this family blog 4 months ago, I never really thought about monetizing it. I just wanted it to become our own place in the web, where I can share the stories of a mom, a dad, and a baby in between. A lot has happened to baby's dad and me before she was born, and we almost end up as a broken family. But then, God is good. So when he decided to come back to us early this year, I thought of opening this family blog to serve as an inspiration to those who already have families and to others who are thinking of having their families soon.

Now, why did I sign up and how did I learn about PPP? Okay, let me share it to you. Since last year, I promised Papa Ghie that Baby Gaby and I will give him a nice present when he comes home on January 2009. When I asked him if what it is that he likes to have, he said he wants a Playstation 3. I was quite shocked though when I learned that it was a little expensive, around 20,000php. But since I gave my word, I intend to keep it even if it means working extra hours to save the amount that I need. So when I learned from my colleague Ate Raziel that I can earn from blogging, I decided to sign up for PPP. Now, here I am, trying to get paid to blog.

PPP or PayPerPost is a great blogging opportunity for newbie bloggers like me. By simply giving my feedback or opinion about various products, services, websites, and companies, now I can do two things at the same time: to blog and to get paid to blog. Talking about hitting two birds with one stone, right? So, what else would I look for in signing up for this site? Isn’t this a great move?

The Baby in Between is Now on Entrecard!

As I've mentioned in the blog's intro, I want this family blog to inspire people in so many ways. But how can it be an inspiration if very few readers are aware that this blog even exists. So, to give it the exposure that it needs, I signed it up to Entrecard.com, an easy way to connect with other bloggers.

Entrecard is an effective means to introduce this blog to other bloggers around the world. Since it is a family blog, I am sure a lot of blogging moms and dads out there would be interested to know what my blog can share about parenting, baby, home, and family as a whole.

So, for those who will find this blog through Entrecard, allow me to welcome you in our home here on the web. I may have only a couple of posts at the moment, but I do assure you that I will continuously post updates for you to read.

Again, WELCOME!
