Mommy Moments - First Steps

Hello everyone - mommies and non-mommies alike! It's Friday again, and so it's another series of Mommy Moments - this time featuring our little one's first steps. Anyway, here's my entry.

Both Daddy and I were not able to witness our Baby Gaby's first steps. Daddy was in South Korea while I was here in the metropolis, leaving the baby in between at my in-laws care together with the nanny. According to her Ate Rose, Gab started making her first steps as early as 9 months. She first did it by holding on to the bed's headboard. Then, when she's on the floor, she also held on to the bed's sides for assistance. I got to see her do that when I went home around August of 2008. I even took a video of her, unfortunately the video was among the files I lost when my MacBook was reformatted.

Anyway, even if Daddy and I were not able to see her first "real" steps, I'd like to share to you here her first steps with us, together as a complete family. These pictures were taken when Daddy came home last October of 2008(their first meeting), prior to her 1st birthday. See, there's a lot of firsts there LOL :D !

Mommy Moments - Playing Time

For this week's theme, it's playing time for our little kiddos - one of the favorite things that they love doing. With my Baby Gaby, well she's not really into toys, like Barbie dolls and stuff. She's more of the techie one. hehe :) She just loves to grab the PSP once she sees her Ate playing with it, the nunchuck for the Nintendo Wii, or the cellphone. I don't know why Baby Gab is very much into gadgets, perhaps she saw that in her dad.

But anyway, when Daddy was here, they were able to spend a really quality playing time together. Let me show you their pictures when we went to Megamall's World's of Fun last January.

I just love watching my big boy and my little girl play together. Soon, we'll have our little boy joinin' in. 'Til next Friday for more Mommy Moments.

Mommy Moments - Encounter with Animals

Wow, I can't believe it's Friday once again. The week seemed to pass so quickly. And tomorrow, I'm off to another long weekend. Weeee! :D

But for now, let me share to you my photos for this Friday's Mommy Moments theme - encounter with animals or pets. And since I wasn't able to find any photo of Baby Gab with pets or animals around, I decided to put mine.

Nothing much for me to share. Those encounters that I have were mostly from our trips in Bohol and Baguio. We haven't really spent a day in a zoo or any place with lots of pets and animals. Anyway, when Daddy comes back here, I'll make sure Baby Gaby will have her first encounters with animals.

Mommy Moments - School Days

Whew, I thought I lost these pics of Ate Yana's school days! My Mac was reformatted 2 weeks ago, and so all the pics I saved here were lost. Good thing, I did not delete these pics in my USB, or else...

Okay, so since the baby in between does not go to school yet, I hope these pics of Ate Yana's school days will suffice. So here's my entry for today's Mommy Moments.



These pics were taken during Yana's graduation in kinder last April 1st. Guess what, she received the 1st honor in her class. Here's one proud momma talking. Lol. :D

Mommy Moments - Outdoor Fun

Happy Independence Day Mommies! For working moms out there, I'm sure this is an extra bonding day for you and the kids. But not for me. We're asked to report for work today instead of tomorrow so we'll have a long weekend. Tomorrow then up to Monday, I'll have more quality time to spend with the baby in between and her sister, Yana. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate so we can have outdoor fun.

Speaking of outdoor fun, today's Mommy Moments' theme is about our little ones having fun outdoor. I certainly have lots of stories and photos to share about it, starting from our vacations in our hometown up to the moments when Daddy was here with us to spend family get-together-days outdoors. Unfortunately, since our digicam was stolen and my Macbook is still busted, I don't think I'll be able to share more photos with you. For now, all I have here are the photos I took from Daddy's friendster account. These are all I've got; I'm really hoping that when our computer technician reformat my Mac, she'll be able to save first all the pictures that I stored there. Or else...What can I say but goodbye to those photos.

Anyway, going back to our theme, here let me show you now our photos when we went to Star City last January 17. I know, some of the rides there are indoor, but well, most of the time we were outside because the outdoor rides were far better.

Mommy Moments - Time Out w/ Friends

Wow, this is my first time to join Mommy Chris' Mommy Moments. Actually, I've decided to join since last week; but since I couldn't find any photos of the baby in between getting a haircut, I decided to pass.

So, what's the theme for this week? It's Mommy Moments - Time Out w/ Friends. I was kind of confused upon seeing the other moms' posts about the theme today because some made a post regarding their kids' time out with friends while the others post about the moms themselves spending time out with friends. So, for me, I decided to post both mommy's time out with friends as well as the baby in between's. Actually, Baby Gaby does not have a real set of friends yet, because we kept moving in and out of "for rent" houses since last year, Hopefully, in time she'll have, especially here in our new neighborhood in Cavite.
